Glycine Airman 17 Sphair - 3927.191-66.LB9B

I've ALWAYS (well at least since I got serious about 24 hour watches) wanted a Glycine Airman. I figured 'one day' I would save up enough and get myself a nice Base 22 in the typical Black/Silver combination that I really like.

Of course it would have to be the Purist version because what's the point of a nice 24 hour dial if the main hands are still on 12 hours.. Ever since my other 24 hour watches I've 'unofficially' gone total 24 hours, where I promised myself I would not buy any more 12 hour watches (ok.. maybe an exception here or there like the Vostok.. ;) )

I was just browsing seeing what was out there and I notice a pretty damn good sale going on some Glycines... while they did not offer the Base 22 like the one above in a Purist they had a very interesting Black / Rubber Version...  Model Number 3927.191-66.LB9B

Turns out I'm looking at the Glycine Airman 17 Sphair Purist..
I debated for about two hours whether to get it.  I had to look up the sizing which is kind of weird (small to large it's Airman 18,22 and then 17 being the largest) but then I just bit the bullet and went ahead and ordered it after seeing some pictures on line of people wearing it.

NO Regrets! It's an AMAZING watch. Great attention to Detail, Quality through-out.
Sizing wise it's 46mm, definitely larger, but it fits great on my wrist. Of course now I'm going to need a watch winder since this is my first automatic :)

Now if only someone would just make a 24hour chronograph already that's affordable.. Looking at you @Breitling..
